CJU EU 2007 is over and the CJ teams from across Europe would like to thank everyone who came to the event. Your participation helped make the event such a success. Particular thanks to those who travelled from Germany, France, Sweden and the Netherlands to get there.

Only a week to go to CJU

Only a week to go to CJU and it looks set to be a great event. The agenda for both days is working out to be really strong with a good mix of business speakers, traditional marketers, industry experts and affiliate marketing professionals.

The networking also looks set to be a great opportunity for all attendees – with the Thomas Cook Lunch on Day 1 and the Adobe Lunch on Day 2. We also have the lastminute.com Champagne reception on day one which leads us into the gala dinner and CJU EU awards.

Gala Dinner and Dance

This year we are offering more networking opportunities at CJU EU.

The main event will be in the evening on Thursday 21st which will be a Champagne reception accompanied by a Jazz Quartet, followed by a 3 course meal with coffee and petit fours, then the CJU EU Awards and then a disco.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to discuss items from the day’s agenda with fellow attendees and let your hair down a bit. We promise to start a bit later on the Friday with some bacon sandwiches and lots of coffee as we are sure that there will be a few sore heads.

Jeremy Palmer Confirmed at CJU EU

Great news! We have confirmed Jeremy Palmer to speak at CJU EU.

Jeremy runs QuitYourDayJob.com, an affiliate education website and runs over 100 affiliate sites over multiple industries. He is a regular speaker and panelist at affiliate marketing events and a regular contributer to high-profile internet marketing websites.

Jeremy will be talking about how to identify, measure, and improve the metrics that mean the most to your business.

Rebecca Jennings from Forrester confirmed at CJU EU

In addition to our keynote speakers Tim Waterstone and Liz Jackson, we are pleased to announce that Rebecca Jennings, Sr Analyst at Forrester Research has been confirmed to speak at the event. Rebecca’s focus at Forrester is on marketing and media and is an expert on traditional media online, multi-channel marketing strategies and new content business models.

We are thrilled that Rebecca will be speaking at CJU EU and believe that she will add real value to the event.

Keynote Speakers at CJU EU

We have two great keynote speakers lined up this year:

Tim Waterstone is the founder of the Waterstones Book Chain and one of the most successful businessmen in the UK. Tim will talk about his experiences in business and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

Liz Jackson is the Founder and Managing Director of Great Guns Marketing. A marketing guru – Liz is an incredibley motivating speaker. She started her business at 25 with a grant from the Prince’s Trust. During the first year of the company Liz lost her sight completely but her natural entrepreneurial talents ensured that the company became a success.

We will be announcing further speakers from the business/marketing and online marketing world shortly which will all contribute to making the event a must-attend for all.

CJU EU getting bigger and better!

2007 sees CJU EU grow to a two day event with 220 delegates. So far we have secured a fantastic venue – the Landmark Hotel in London’s Marylebone. This has been named as the top hotel in London three times in the last five years. The 21st and 22nd June are the dates to remember!

This year we will also be hosting a gala dinner and dance on the evening of the 21st which will give attendees the perfect opportunity to sample some of the award-winning food.
